Website Policy
This page explains how Sac Arts works right now at a practical level. It is a website policy for the project as it exists today, not a final legal terms-of-service document.
How the site works right now
- Sac Arts is a local creative-hub platform for events, groups, venues, stories, and light publishing tools.
- Users are expected to use the site tools directly for publishing, profiles, and participation.
- Site managers handle moderation, approvals, categories, and settings behind the scenes.
Publishing and trust
- Users begin with supervised access unless they are explicitly trusted.
- Supervised users can submit content for review and build trust through their profile and participation.
- Trusted users gain broader publishing abilities, including faster publishing flows and more flexibility over what they can create.
Content and moderation
- Categories are controlled so browsing stays clear and consistent.
- Users can suggest new categories, but suggested categories are reviewed before becoming official.
- Content that is misleading, abusive, spammy, or clearly outside the purpose of the project can be rejected or removed by administrators.
Current status of this page
This page is meant to give users a plain-language explanation of how the project works right now. If Sac Arts grows into a broader public launch, it may make sense to add more formal Terms of Service and Privacy Policy documents later. For now, a website policy page is the more honest and useful fit.
