John Bell earned a BA in Spanish from the University of New Mexico and an MFA in creative writing from Wichita State University. He retired from 21 years of teaching at American River College and has published in Thorny Locust, Teaching English in the Two-Year College, Sacramento Voices, Tule Review, and elsewhere. He lives in Sacramento. Bee Jay Davis is a poet, flash fiction storyteller, attorney, and advocate for self-realization. Her debut collection was published in 2020 and her latest publication is My Only Friends Are Pirates. She currently lives in Sacramento.
