Something wicked—and wonderfully swinging—this way comes! Shelley’s BOO Note Quartet opens The Great American Spookbook for a spirited Halloween night of jazz featuring Shelley Burns, Andrew Mell, Jeff Minnieweather, and the Manager. They’ll conjure up bewitching standards including “That Old Black Magic,” “Witchcraft,” “Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered,” “Old Devil Moon,” “Misterioso,” and “‘Round Midnight.” Expect haunting melodies, devilish rhythms, mysterious harmonies, and enough swing to wake the dead. Come for the tricks, stay for the tunes—and prepare to fall under their spell! Seatings at 6:00 PM. Dinner show at Twin Lotus Thai. Reservations online only; no phone reservations. Voluntary cover.
